Emmanuelle Pellet studied art history and visual arts at the Ecole du Louvre and the Sorbonne in Paris. She passed the CAPES (1987) and then the Agrégation (1989, 3rd rank) and taught from secondary school to university before directing the educational activities of the Louvre Museum for ten years.

She has lived in Paris, Luxembourg, Mauritius and Singapore while working as an illustrator for children's publishing and the women's press. She is currently based in Aix-en-Provence where she devotes herself fully to painting. She is regularly exhibited in art galleries and her paintings are present in private collections around the world.
